∎ Must have a diploma degree in Medical Technology from a Government Reputated Organization.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The X-ray technician will perform different types of X-ray investigations encompassing normal X-rays, contrast X-rays, and other tests.
∎ He/she is responsible for performing all the tests skilfully maintaining scientific methodology as it is applied to different tests.
∎ He/she will provide requisition of necessary reagents and accessories by making a short listing with a pretty time margin so that necessary items do not suffer a shortfall.
∎ He/she will fulfill the monthly target as fixed by the authority. With this end in view, he will keep in contact with the doctors, nurses & reception desk.
∎ He/she will deliver the report after proper checking in time.
∎ He/she should do amicable behavior and maintain nice relations with clients.
∎ He/she records every report properly in the proper place.
∎ He/she should comply with the field rips as and when necessary.
∎ He/she is expected to do extra duty when it is deemed necessary for the sake of patient service.
∎ He/she will maintain the instruments at regular intervals and take the initiative to repair them if needed.
∎ He/she will keep the room neat & tidy and dispose of the excreta/disposables properly.
∎ Assess and maintain X-ray equipment.
∎ Prepare a report of the investigation.
∎ Establishing and monitoring programs that ensure data accuracy.
∎ Prepare reports of weekly and monthly activities.Any other tasks assigned by the Hospital Authority.
