Experience:

• 3 to 5 years

• Diploma

• A diploma or associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology or related program is required.
• Certification from a recognized professional body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and a valid state license are required or preferred.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre

• Age 20 to 35 years
• Only Male

Experience:

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in radiography, is beneficial.
• Experience with specific equipment, such as a C-arm for surgical procedures, may be preferred for certain roles.

• Strong technical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and position patients. 

The primary role is to operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of a patient's internal structures to assist physicians in diagnosing illnesses and injuries. 

Job Summary

The X-Ray Operator is a skilled healthcare professional responsible for safely and effectively performing X-ray imaging procedures. They ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process, maintain equipment, and meticulously record all patient and procedure data. They work closely with Radiologists and other medical staff to ensure timely and accurate image delivery for proper medical diagnosis and treatment planning. 

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care and Communication:

• Explain procedures to patients, answering their questions and addressing anxieties to secure their cooperation.
• Position patients correctly and safely on the examination table to obtain optimal images of specific body parts.
• Monitor the patient's condition during the procedure, recognizing any discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.

Imaging Procedure and Equipment Operation:

• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, adjusting settings and controls to produce clear and detailed diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Assess the quality of captured images and retake them if necessary to ensure diagnostic clarity.
• Operate digital imaging software and systems, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

Safety and Compliance:

• Strictly adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols for both the patient and staff, including using protective lead aprons, gloves, and shields.
• Wear a personal dosimeter to monitor individual radiation exposure and ensure levels remain within safety limits.
• Follow all infection control and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) policies.

Documentation and Administrative Duties:

• Accurately record patient medical histories and information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Ensure all images and reports are correctly labeled and filed, then sent to the appropriate medical provider for review.
• Maintain logs of all procedures and quality checks.

Maintenance and Supplies:

• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on X-ray equipment and report any malfunctions to management.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of radiography supplies.
