Journalists can work in various forms of media, including print, broadcast, digital, and investigative.

Researching and investigating:

• Journalists gather information, uncover facts, and verify information through interviews, document reviews, and observing events.

Writing and reporting:

• Journalists write news articles, reports, features, or opinion pieces based on their research. They use clear, concise, and compelling language to communicate information accurately and effectively.

Upholding journalistic ethics:

• Journalists are expected to uphold journalistic ethics, including accuracy, objectivity, fairness, and sensitivity. They should be free from all kinds of prejudices and should include versions from all the concerned or affected parties in their reports.

Networking and building contacts:

• Journalists attend press conferences and events, and build contacts with various external stakeholders, such as businesses, communities, and the police.

Administrative and computer work:

• Journalists take notes, record interviews, write and upload articles, and proofread.

Working with colleagues:

• Journalists work with other journalists, editors, sub-editors, designers, photographers, and news teams.
• Journalists can work in various forms of media, including print, broadcast, digital, and investigative.
