Content review:

• Overseeing the review of content to ensure it's accurate, relevant, and meets the publication's standards

Editorial leadership:

• Providing editorial leadership and guidance to ensure the publication's content reflects its vision and values.

Team management:

• Recruiting, managing, and performing evaluations of associate editors and other editorial team members

Policy setting:

• Establishing policies and guidelines for authors and manuscripts, including guidelines for authorship, conflict of interest, and ethical conduct

Collaboration:

• Working with the lead editor or other editors to shape the final product and ensure it meets the publication's goals

Communication:

• Facilitating communication between all parties involved in the publication process
