Alternative Recruitment Ltd. is expanding its digital footprint. We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance websites and custom web applications. The ideal candidate isn't just a "page builder" user—they are a coder who understands the WordPress core, database optimization, and custom plugin development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance.

• Customize existing WordPress themes and configure plugins to implement required features and improve functionality.

• Implement responsive web layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and WordPress themes, following design specifications (Figma/Adobe XD) and project requirements.

• Install, configure, and customize plugins to enhance website functionality and meet business requirements.

• Ensure optimal performance by configuring caching plugins and improving page loading speed.

• Troubleshoot website issues, including layout errors, plugin conflicts, and functional bugs.

• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of design layouts and content structure

• Manage version updates, perform security checks, and troubleshoot site-speed or performance issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Proven project experience with WordPress CMS, including theme customization, template hierarchy, and plugin configuration.

• Familiarity with WordPress page builders such as Elementor or similar tools.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for front-end functionality and UI improvements.

• Understanding of website speed optimization, SEO best practices, and routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Follows best coding practices and familiarity with version control (Git) or development workflow is a plus.
