Additional Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain all kinds of welfare activities (counseling & motivating, floor visits, problem-solving, health & hygiene, etc.).
  • Form HR-related committees and ensure proper follow-up on activities.
  • Assist workers with leave management and maintain records.
  • Conduct employee training sessions and keep proper documentation.
  • Develop strong worker-owner relationships and communication.
  • Ensure correct employee categorization and proper rights.
  • Promote good health practices and maintain a safe workplace environment.
  • Guide employees in accessing medical services, housing, education, canteen facilities, and legal assistance.
  • Ensure all welfare activities comply with the Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules-2015.
  • Ensure availability of amenities such as dining, toilets, drinking water, etc.
  • Advise and brief workers on PPE use, machine safety, sanitation, and fire safety.
  • Participate in manpower recruitment and conduct employee orientation.
  • Ensure all statutory and company-provided benefits for workers.
  • Prevent and address any physical or sexual abuse in the workplace.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and employee relations issues as per labor law.
  • Safeguard employee rights and counsel workers regarding discipline and absenteeism.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR & Compliance policies in line with company rules, local laws, and buyers’ Code of Conduct (CoC).
