Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strong in knowledge in all compliance related matters;
∎ Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as: WPC, Fire, Grievance, EHS, etc.
∎ Follow-up the social standards/ requirements regarding Child Labour, Forced Labour, Non- Discrimination etc.
∎ To encourage workers to put up their grievance freely;
∎ To liaison between the management and the workers;
∎ To train and advise the workers of their legal rights and others privileges;
∎ Maintaining and monitoring all relevant documentation
∎ Monitoring, Develop & Follow-up the total Health & Safety Issues in the total industry premises, Workers welfare, Industrial Dispute, Working Hours, Company policy, Salary & wages, Disciplinary & Grievance Policy, Maternity & all others leave benefits to the employees,
∎ Maintain close coordination with the Compliance Officer;
∎ To closely monitor all Child care activities ; to train and closely supervise the Child care personnel;
∎ To develop & conduct the new employees orientation.
∎ To update the training Schedules and execute all training modules
∎ Develop & monitoring the environmental issues of the company.
∎ Monitoring the house keeping supervisors regarding their activities and reporting.
∎ To choose the international and national days ; plan and execute programs to recognize these days at the factory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Good IT literacy skills
∎ Good proficiency in English - written and spoken
∎ Previous experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Welfare in the Garment Sector
∎ Good understanding of Bangladesh Labour laws
∎ Ability to work and adhere to tight deadlines, prioritising workload effectively, multitasking and managing conflicting priorities.
∎ Willingness to work long hours when required
