Job Context:
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh’s most prominent and diversified conglomerates, is seeking a skilled and proactive Web Developer to join its IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of web application development including system design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance with a strong focus on integrating data from multiple sources to support business intelligence and operations. This role will report directly to the Head of IT.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust, secure server-side applications using Linux CentOS 7, Nginx, PHP (^7.3|^8.0), MySQL, MSSQL, and cronjob scheduling.
Build scalable and modular web applications using Laravel by implementing MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, file storage, schedulers, and email modules.
Design and develop RESTful APIs to support Android and web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Ensure smooth data exchange and integration between mobile applications and the backend system using industry-standard API practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis, design, and sprint planning to deliver user-focused features.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications and APIs using logs, performance testing tools, and code refactoring techniques.
