Job Context:
∎ Excellent MVP-focused coding skills in PHP7 of a minimum of 3 years
∎
∎ Practical & recent experience with MVC Frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter, Symfony or Yii2
∎
∎ Solid technical understanding of RESTful API`s
∎
∎ Experience with handling & querying relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL)
∎
∎ Good background in building scalable distributed products and practical experience with Caching
∎
∎ Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable, scalable code, actively keeping the quality of the codebase in check
∎ Able to customize existing PHP project
∎
∎ Ability to re-engineer/customize existing (any) PHP based Framework (any) systems/web application/software/CMS (e.g. Wordpress) to allow for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality
∎
∎ R&D for new technologies and ideas to add value to the project
∎
∎ Provide timely and accurate communication of status to team
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build, test and set up cutting-edge website applications in an efficient matter; work with other developers to fill data acquisition requirements
∎ Identify and fix CSS, HTML and scripting compatibility issues between a variety of platforms and browsers; test websites on different browsers and mobile device browsers; correct problems identified by customer feedback
∎ Investigate and discover architectural considerations, such as web usability, site performance and database design, as part of the system design process; research and assess implementation alternatives for new application features
∎ Collaborate and communicate with development teams and management to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, choose solutions or develop content criteria
∎ Develop procedures for ongoing project revision; recommend performance improvements; create and refine style guidelines for system features; select design tools, programming languages or applications
∎ Provide detailed explanations of web application specifications, such as activities, software, product features, programming languages, communication protocols and operating systems hardware and software
∎ Remain up to date about current programming practices and web technologies through reading, continuing education opportunities or participation in professional workshops, groups or conferences
