Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Biochemist/ Biotechnology and Genetic Engineer/ Microbiology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ With minimum 2 years work experience of which 1 years experience in similar works.
∎ Responsible to develop the WQT monitoring system for the project activities through developing WQT monitoring tools and guidelines for the project.
∎ Provide technical supports that are field based sample collection and conduct water quality tests.
∎ Assist the Water sample collector/WASH Officer as well as the Project Management sharing the field findings for improving the quality of the field activities.
∎ Ensure 100% data verified which are submitted from Water sample collector/WASH Officer through tracking reporting system on daily basis.
∎ Verify all the data, giving update weekly to Project officers on regular basis which are send by sample collector/ WASH Officer/Union Facilitators through monitoring tools
∎ Technical support giving to the water sample collector and WASH officer as required Conduct need assessment and Collect data if required and make sure that the data is available to all agencies of 8W.
∎ Coordinate with Lab Technician, Water Sample Collector, WASH officer, Field Engineer, M&E Officer, Project Manager, DPHE, UNICEF likeminded NGOs, Deputy director- Engineer-VERC HQ. Coordinate with other team mates of the project
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ 2 years (at least 1 year in Water quality lab maintenance and operation).
∎ 2 years professional experience in WASH Program, reporting and implementation oversight
∎ Strong relation with authorities and stake holders in the area of operation
∎ Good communication skills, good in written and spoken English
∎ Excellent skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication
∎ Familiarity with UN partnership and fund management systems
∎ Prepare project reports and send to Donor/Partner as per agreed schedule.
∎ Candidate Attitude regarding Gender/PSEA & others policies and Code of conduct of the organization
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age limit would be relaxed. Women and persons with special needs are equally eligible to apply for the said post.
