Responsibilities & Context:
1. Daily Operations & Supervision
· Supervise daily waste collection, recycling, and disposal operations.
· Record keeping of daily generated waste, recycle, reuse, and dispatch quantities.
2. Data Management & Reporting
· Track waste statistics, analyze trends, and compile reports to enter in software.
3. Strategy & Continuous Improvement
· Develop and implement strategies to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Training
· Communicate and educate internal departments regarding the waste collection process, proper waste segregation, and recycling practices.
· Communicate and monitor the performance of external waste contractors and service providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
5. Compliance, External Liaison & Management
· Liaison with relevant government offices like the Department of Environment (DoE), Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE), etc.
· Implement other decisions that come from management regarding waste.
