Job Context:
∎ Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community of Cox`s Bazar to improve WASH facilities for the crisis affected people in partnership with BRAC Pooled Fund. Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled Finance and Admin Officer for the "Improved health through Strengthened community hygiene management" Project.

∎ Reporting: Finance and Admin Officer will report to Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to Prottyashi`s vision, mission, and long-term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized. Candidates must be capable of displaying great learning agility, support and encourage knowledge sharing across projects, for the ultimate benefit of all of Prottyashi mission wide initiatives.
∎ Contract Duration: Till 30th November 2024
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in baseline survey, data collection, and data compilation.
∎ Identify participants for the male engagement sessions, MHM sessions to be conducted at the camp level.
∎ Prepare status of the WASH facilities requiring upgradation, repair and maintenance, and decommissioning.
∎ Organize MHM sessions, community feedback and consultation meeting, male engagement sessions.
∎ Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.
∎ Mobilize the community people to increase ownership of the WASH facilities through regular awareness building.
∎ Lead volunteer teams to conduct hygiene awareness at the household level.
∎ Track activities of the technical volunteers and prepare volunteer engagement reports regularly.
∎ Monitor the status of existing WASH facilities and report to WASH project Officers.
∎ Supervise the upgradation, repair and maintenance, desludging, waste collection and decommissioning activities to be implemented at the camp level.
∎ Monitor that the hand washing stations are functional and being used by the community people.
∎ Report any safeguarding issues identified at the community level in using the WASH facilities.
∎ Provide input to prepare different project reports as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 year of professional experience in development sector working directly with the beneficiaries.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 33,480 BDT, contributory project provident fund 1,519 BDT.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 01month gross salary will be paid as a bonus at proportionate rate (Pro-Rata).
