Responsibilities & Context:
Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.
Have you gained practical experience in the WASH sector, particularly within refugee contexts, by leading large-scale engineering projects focused on sanitation or water supply?
Do you have experience in Emergency WASH preparedness and response?
Have you developed and demonstrated the ability to plan, build, and deliver WASH initiatives?

The role:
The WASH Specialist will provide strategic vision, guidance, and technical leadership for Oxfam’s country programme in the WASH sector. Responsibilities include delivering the WASH strategy, leading the design and scaling of the WASH portfolio, and strengthening emergency response through preparedness and contingency plans. The role ensures technical quality in donor reports, mainstreams gender and protection, and promotes safe programming. Additionally, the Specialist will shape response approaches, engage in advocacy, represent Oxfam on WASH issues at high levels, and maintain professional relations with donors and stakeholders.

Job Other Benifits:
Salary & Benefits: as per Oxfam National C2 pay band, the starting annual salary for this role is BDT2,104,742.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
