Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Post-Graduate in Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Drama & Dramatics, or Social Science or any other relevant discipline from a reputed university.
∎ Skills:
∎ Minimum of 2 years' experience in the WASH field
∎ 2 years of proven technical experience in WASH, specifically in community engagement hygiene practice monitoring and public health improvement activities
∎ Proven ability to manage hygiene promotion and public health programs
∎ Experience in management including team management, supervision, and activity planning
∎ Demonstrated experience in training dissemination
∎ Proven expertise in capacity development
∎ Experience in conducting field questionnaire surveys
∎ Expertise in emergency response, including managing outbreaks of Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD) and coordinating distribution efforts.
∎ Experience of working in challenging context with limited support.

Job Context:
∎ Define the content, contribute, implement, and supervise and monitor the community engagement, practice monitoring of personal hygiene practice, ensure the access of NFI and relevant activities to improve the public health situation in the WASH intervention area.
∎ Contract duration up to Sep`23.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 01: Planning and implementation
∎ Ensure the daily implementation of public health promotion activities as defined by the supervisor.
∎ Collaborate with local stakeholders to engage them to scale up the community engagement activities to improve the overall public health situation.
∎ Collaborate with the line manager to assess the relevance of intervention areas and the selection of beneficiaries.
∎ Contribute to the line manager's understanding of the context, proposing improvements and new activities to achieve objectives.
∎ Support to develop the Implementation project plan, adjusting activities as needed to meet project objectives
∎ Collaborate with local stakeholders to define the approach and present activities.
∎ Ensure the hygiene kits/Menstrual hygiene kits and other NFI distribution
∎ Ensure the proper documentation of the project activities
∎ Objective 02: Monitor and Capacity Building
∎ Monitor public health promotion activities and WASH volunteers in the field on a regular basis.
∎ Enhance the volunteers' capacity to facilitate sessions, provide training, and communicate effectively.
∎ Support the line manager in planning and organizing various events and activities.
∎ Visit the field regularly to track progress and provide guidance to volunteers based on observations.
∎ Contribute to the development of IEC/BCC materials and training modules.
∎ Conduct regular visits to households and surrounding areas to assess the public health situation and recommend improvements.
∎ Conduct training and monitoring for both WASH Committee members and beneficiaries.
∎ Participate in the assessment and survey based on programme requirements.
∎ Actively participation in the bi-weekly and monthly monitoring
∎ Do the practice monitoring of the household level in regular basis
∎ Objective 03: Effective Collaboration and Cross-cutting Issues
∎ Assist the line manager in defining the approach with local stakeholders, other organizations, and LGIs.
∎ Conduct joint training sessions for volunteers and other stakeholders to enhance their understanding and skills in cross-cutting issues such as gender, the person with disability, and social inclusion.
∎ Develop and implement a communication plan to ensure effective information sharing and coordination among different partners and stakeholders.
∎ Conduct joint awareness campaigns on cross-cutting issues such as menstrual hygiene, and access to WASH service by the person with disabilities.
∎ Regular meeting with user groups, block management committee, camp management committee etc.
∎ Meeting with local businesses and service providers to support public health initiatives to ensure a healthy environment.
∎ Facilitate community participation and engagement in public health promotion activities through the establishment of community WASH facilities user groups and other participatory approaches.
∎ Objective 04: Reporting
∎ Prepare accurate and timely activity reports, as instructed by the line manager, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
∎ Support the line manager in maintaining accurate records of supplies received and delivered in the field. This includes verifying the quantity and quality of supplies, tracking their distribution, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
∎ Provide relevant information to the line manager for the development of case studies, success stories, and failure analyses.
∎ Objective 05: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Ability to smart communicate with people in local language (Cox’s Bazaar)
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal)
∎ Team management, Ability to analyse and synthesize, Ability to work under limited supervision, Dynamism.
∎ Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to interact with the locals (Cox’s Bazar) and the Rohingya community.
∎ Competent to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in English, both orally and in writing.
∎ Strong team management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate team efforts.
∎ Capable of analysing and synthesizing complex information, with a keen eye for detail.
∎ Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
∎ Dynamic and adaptable, able to quickly respond to changing circumstances and requirements.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 38874 (Monthly)
