∎ Master’s degree in Marine Sciences/ Fisheries, or relevant subject. Advance training and solid experience on Marine Conservation, Marine Protected Area Natural Resources Management, Bio Diversity, alternative livelihoods, national level policy advocacy, and gender justice are pre-requisite for the position.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Highly experienced and qualified professional with over 5-7 years of proven career in Marine Bio-diversity, Marine Protected Area Management, Ecosystem, Marine Fisheries along with minimum 2 years of managerial experience. A strong track record of success in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects that have made a significant positive impact on the lives of marginalized communities.
∎ Extensive experience of working in Natural Resource Management (NRM) in INGOs
∎ Proven ability to manage, implement, monitor and prepare report for consortium project.
∎ High-level of technical expertise in marine science/marine and coastal fisheries, biodiversity, marine ecosystem, fishermen and their groups,
∎ Understanding of mainstreaming DRR and environment friendly approaches.
∎ Experience in participative planning, surveys, and assessments, working in sector and working groups' level coordination mechanisms & organizing and facilitating meeting, workshops and seminar
∎ Good managerial and leadership skills.
∎ Good analytical and presentation skills.
∎ Have ability to set objectives in changing context to reach organization’s goal.
∎ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
∎ Excellent networking and lobbying skills.
∎ Team-building and training skills
∎ •ENGLISH: Professional level in writing and speaking.
∎ Good understanding on social development scenario, humanitarian context and climate change adaptation in Bangladesh.
∎ Ability to work under limited supervision & have capacity to work under pressured condition

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Technical Deputy Program Manager-Fisheries will be responsible for implementation of the project 'Fisher folk Integration for Sustainable Habitat and Natural Ecosystem Transformation (FISHNET)' specially collaboration, coordination and advocacy with national level government and non-government stakeholders for community managed marine protected area, marine biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management. Support to the project team, planning, organizing, monitoring & supervision of the project activities and provide necessary technical support and guidance for efficient and timely implementation of the project.
