∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ At least 1 year of experience in Finance/Accounts Department.
∎ NGO Experience will be preffered.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Receive and check the eligibility of invoices submitted for payments (compliance with SPO, voucher, required information);
∎ Check the vouchers for advances made the day before and request invoice from advance requester.
∎ Calculate applicable VAT & TAX, and prepare summary of payment invoices.
∎ Sort and vouch financial documents to ensure they are in accordance with required procedures and guidelines and maintain a good working relationship with other department in this connection.
∎ Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
∎ Assist senior finance officer for day to day bank correspondence
∎ Archive financial supporting documents from bases and coordination
∎ Proper tracking down all hard copy documents provided by Finance colleagues and making sure of their proper organizing.
∎ Receiving documents sent by base/field level and organizing them into separate folder monthly basis.
∎ Record the all the files/ documents by sending and receiving from base/field and coordination.
∎ Support various initiatives aimed at strengthening ACF’s partnerships
∎ Maintain filing of monthly accounting vouchers and other financial documents;
∎ Photocopy, scan and translate the financial documents when required;
∎ Assist to finance colleagues/external auditors to find/seek the accounting vouchers, & stamp; financial supporting documents when needed;
∎ Getting familiar with accounting / finance management in an international organization;
∎ Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or delegated authority
∎ Scanning financial vouchers and organized them into digital archive.
∎ Scanning partners’ vouchers, TDS VDS challan and others and organize them into digital archive.
∎ Tracking and recording the documents in NHF and NAS network side.
∎ Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor or delegated authority
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committee;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
∎ Objective 1: Assisting on managing the bases’ payments and timely recording of the transactions for the Action Against Hunger at Dhaka
∎ Receive and check the eligibility of invoices submitted for payments (compliance with SPO, voucher, required information);

∎ Archive financial supporting documents from bases and coordination

∎ Receiving documents sent by base/field level and organizing them into separate folder monthly basis.
∎ Record the all the files/ documents by sending and receiving from base/field and coordination.

∎ Your monthly Salary will be BDT 1514 Per Day. No work no payment modality You will not be eligible for any other benefits except food allowance BDT 1100/- monthly.
