Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary Responsibilities
∎ Directly responsible for the technical guidance, management and implementation of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Program
∎ Effectively manage the WASH projects using appropriate tools to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and to the expected quality.
∎ Provide technical leadership in the design of all WASH interventions, taking into account both humanitarian and development good practice.
∎ Responsible for the financial management of WASH programs, including budget preparation, revision and monitoring.
∎ Ensure that minimum standards of technical quality are adhered to in all engineering activities and interventions, which are technically appropriate, suitable for the given humanitarian and development context, realistic and on budget.
∎ Strengthen relationships with partner organizations for successful implementation of WASH-related activities
∎ Ensure relevant information is shared between donor and partners for timely project execution and reporting
∎ Conduct weekly field visits with monitoring and supervision purpose and prepare field visit reports as needed
∎ Plan accordingly in relation to achieve project goals and objectives
∎ Support higher management in decision-making and future planning
∎ Ensure the establishment/maintenance of appropriate sectoral coordination mechanisms, including working groups at the national and, if necessary, local level
∎ Develop excellent relationship with Government, UN organizations, International Organization and National organization for resources mobilization
∎ Logistics management/planning to ensure timely delivery of items
∎ Training arrangements of responsible donor staff with partner organizations and/or volunteers
∎ Prepare program data reports, field reports, interim reports, and donor reports.

∎ Regular responsibilities
∎ Develop the partnership with the CICs and sectors
∎ Develop project plan and budget for WASH program
∎ Develop concept notes and proposals
∎ Continuously identify WASH needs in alignment of sector and Government
∎ Remain flexible to carry out other responsibilities as requested by supervisor

∎ Monitoring & Evaluation
∎ Prepare all the necessary reports such as progress reports, annual reports and final reports for donors. Organize donor visits, evaluations and program reviews as necessary.
∎ Ensure that the monitoring framework within the program is implemented, including baseline data, secondary data, reviews, end line surveys, donor reporting and internal/external evaluations.
∎ Actively monitor and report progress on all identified WASH indicators in program documents and relevant standards with the support of supervisor
∎ Contribute to the development of all WASH proposals and new programs, in the form of draft program concept notes and proposals in consultation with the Program staff.

∎ Operations and Administration
∎ Attend and participate in coordination meetings, staff meetings, and training as necessary
∎ Prepare final report of pilot project outcomes to guide future programming.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 35 years
∎ Experience working in water, sanitation and hygiene sector
∎ At least 3 years overseas experience with an NGO/INGO managing staff and programmes
∎ Ability to develop and write good quality donor proposals, reports and other essential papers in English
∎ Experience developing and conducting training and capacity building of staff and partners
∎ Experience of representation at senior level (eg Country Clusters, NGO coordination meetings, Ministries)
∎ Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills
∎ Good presentation skills, writing, and analytical skills
∎ Excellent software skills for MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds
∎ Willingness to work in remote rural area with challenging living conditions
∎ Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills

Salary: Negotiable
