Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Warehouse Management
∎ Manage stock, assets and property inventory related to program activities ensuring that appropriate internal con-trol systems are followed and proper recording and reporting are maintained following HI and donor regulations;
∎ Ensures the security and condition of the warehouse, safe from threat of break-in, insect or rodent infestation;
∎ Responsible for the health and safety of the persons working in the warehouse by managing the working environment and providing safety gear (closed shoes, gloves...);
∎ Ensure all procedures regarding storage (all goods on pallets, space between piles, FIFO...);
∎ Respect all procedures about documents concerning the warehouse immediately;
∎ Responsible to manage the work and to pay daily-hire loader(s)
∎ Supervise NFI kitting activities and dry food packing
∎ Maintain the premises in good state of order, cleanliness
∎ Responsible to guard materials in such a way as to protect them from improper use or misuse.
∎ Objective 2: Receive and Issue
∎ Follow the HI standard forms & procedure while receiving / issuing the material;
∎ Record accurately the IN/OUT movements of stocks for each item and compile it in HI stock management docu-ments;
∎ Suppliers delivering items to warehouse should be accompanied by Chalan AND SPO copy;
∎ Manage the reception & issuance of the material, verify count and quality of items;
∎ Reception check the quantity and condition of material and report any discrepancy;
∎ Make sure before dispatch that quantities has compliance with the Stock Release Order;
∎ Manage loading & unloading of material, hire the required numbers of loaders;
∎ Make sure the stock issued has been validated by your Budget Holder;
∎ Conduct the physical inventories at the end of each month & report any discrepancy to your Site Support Officer and Logistics Manager with investigation report;
∎ Counts, weight and measures good received or issued;
∎ Unpacks incoming goods and wraps and packs outgoing goods;
∎ Coordinate with Procurement Officer to report on deliveries in order to reconcile with the purchase order.
∎ Objective 3: Record Keeping
∎ Fill the all format according to the HI procedures;
∎ Archive delivery note, reception certificate, stock cards and item request form in proper and clean filing;
∎ Fill properly / regularly the stock card at every stock movement;
∎ Make delivery note/WayBill for sending material to other location;
∎ Able to produce any type of report (stock balance, stock issuance, stock reception) when required by your line manager.
∎ Objective 4: Safety and Security
∎ Ensure the safety measures are well applied and understood for any worker or visitors;
∎ Ensure that stock has been secure from any type of threat;
∎ Make sure that all locks / doors/ windows of warehouse are in good working condition;
∎ Return the warehouse key to the Site Support Officer after his/her duty;
∎ Make sure that all material is secured from rain or any type of water leakage;
∎ Ensure safety material is in good condition and available - sand buckets; shovels; fire extinguishers;
∎ Conduct all fumigation to control rodent/ pest/ insects.
∎ Objective 5: Documentation and Archives
∎ Make sure the archives consigned by the bases are well stored properly;
∎ Make sure the archives are well identified by codes or tags according to the HI procedures;
∎ Make sure the access of the archives are restricted and for only authorized persons listed by the Logistics Coordinator.
∎ Objective 6: Reporting
∎ Stock Report is to be updated daily and distributed to the Logistics Manager and Program Managers and Finance manager weekly, Thursday afternoon.
∎ Each month, conduct a monthly physical inventory of the goods in the warehouse
∎ Monthly Stock Report is to be distributed to the Logistics Manager, hardcopy to be signed by Warehouse Assis-tant as 'accurate and true' and filed in archives. An electronic version will be stored in a safe place.
∎ Objective 7: Ethics and Professional Practice
∎ Show professional ethics, respect and promote Handicap International mandate;
∎ Respect the Handicap International protection of children policy and protection of beneficiaries from sexual ex-ploitation and abuse policy and report to your line manager any non-respect of HI's policies amongst the teams or partners;
∎ Respect the Handicap International policy and mechanisms for the prevention of, and fight against, FRAUD and bribery and report to your line manager any non-respect of HI's policies amongst the teams or partners.

∎ Excellent communications skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility
∎ Autonomous but also a good team player
∎ Advanced computer literacy are essential requirement
