Experience:
Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Social Science, or any relevant subject.
Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in community outreach programme, engaging in the community particularly for the persons with disability, people affected with Leprosy or any other marginalized communities to promote inclusion.
Training & Facilitation: Proven track record of designing & conducting training, facilitating sessions and conducting awareness programmes.
Age: Maximum 45 Years (Age limit will be flexible in experienced candite)

Basic understanding of disability, leprosy, marginalization, human rights, inclusive development.
Basic understanding on rural development landscape/scenario and associated agencies in the context of Bangladesh.
Good communication and facilitation skills.

Progress monitoring and reporting skills.
Ability to engage with diverse groups, including families, children, and community stakeholders.
Record-keeping and reporting skills in Bangla.
Computer skills: Very Good skills in MS Office applications-word/excel/ power-point presentation, Bangla type and familiar with Internet.
Motorcycle with a valid license is preferred but is not a must.
Having a Smart Phone is a requirement for online data input, when required.
Aim of the Project: Enhance access to affordable, quality, and inclusive rehabilitation services for children and youths with disabilities (CYwDs) in rural Bangladesh by integrating rehabilitation into mainstream health systems, expanding community-based solutions, and leveraging innovative service delivery models, enhancing their functional independence, participation, and social inclusion.
Job Location: The position is based in Parbatipur Upazila of Dinajpur District and with regular travel to upazila and union level for implementation of project activities smoothly.

Job Responsibilities
Support in Program Coordination and Implementation
Support the implementation of CBR activities for children, youth, and other persons with disabilities at the community level.
Assist in the preparation of DIP/PIP, SOP and ensuring activities are translated to frontline workers to implement.
Ensure planned activities and deliverables are completed on time and in line with project standards.
Review progress on a monthly basis, identify gaps or challenges, and coordinate with the Project Coordinator to address them.
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of CBR workers to ensure effective implementation of planned interventions.
Field-Level Engagement (Approximately 50%)
Engage regularly at the field level to support planning and successful implementation of all health camps in coordination with relevant stakeholders and communities.
Conduct home visits to persons with disabilities and provide training to enhance their skills and abilities, enabling their participation in family and social life.
Conduct field visits to monitor activities and assess the quality of services delivered by CBR facilitators and community interns.
Ensure awareness sessions are organized and implemented in compliance with approved SOPs.
Ensure functional and effective referral mechanisms are in place for hospital-based rehabilitation services.
Perform aligned activities under LF-funded projects as assigned by the Project Coordinator to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Community Engagement and Local Resource Mobilization
Coordinate with local government authorities and service providers to support children and youth with disabilities.
Collaborate with NGOs and other stakeholders with a special focus on health actors to implement sustainable CBR interventions.
Work closely with persons with disabilities and promote their meaningful participation in program activities.
Mobilize families and community members to actively engage in CBR activities.
Work with families and communities, in line with the CBR matrix framework, to promote empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Support disability prevention activities through awareness on prevention, early identification, referral, and follow-up at community level.
Assist individuals with disabilities in accessing the required social protection schemes.
Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by the project management.
