Education:
∎ HSC/Equivalent degree. A diploma in Pharmacy or a certificate course in Pharmacy technician from a Government recognized institute will add value.

∎ At least 1 to 2 year(s) experience of working as a warehouse assistant in a health facility or medicine warehouse. Working experience in NGOs and hard-to-reach areas will add value.
∎ Ability to act calmly and quickly in emergencies.
∎ Ability to follow instructions.
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Unpacks and examines incoming goods to verify quality, quantity and condition of goods for conformance to specifications, including counting.
∎ Weighing and/or sorting the incoming good.
∎ Stores goods, supplies and equipment in appropriate storage containers according to size, shape and type following standard/guidelines.
∎ Marks identifying codes, figures or letters on articles and attaches tags to articles for identification purpose.
∎ Maintain and follow first expiry and first out (FEFO).
∎ Maintain bin card.
∎ Issues supplies, materials and equipment to users in accordance with established procedures.
∎ Maintains records and logs of items received, issued and shipped including description of articles, type and other identifying information in accordance with established procedures.
∎ Takes physical inventory of supplies and equipment to determine actual amounts on hand, to review and/or reconcile stock records to detect spoilage, damage or variances in quantity.
∎ Performs related duties such as loading and unloading items to and from trucks, maintaining general appearance of stockroom, weighing, materials and equipment to other locations using hand trucks.
∎ To do any assignment given by authority.
