Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Finance
∎ Master's degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Cost Accounting
∎ CA partly qualified

∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help executives/ staff succession and growth plans.
∎ Train the finance unite and other staff on raising awareness and develop the knowledge of financial management matters.
∎ Participate in developing new business, specifically in identifying new business opportunities, drafting of prospective and programmatic budgets and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
∎ Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the executive team on programmatic design and implementation matters.
∎ Ensure adequate controls are installed that substantial documentation procedure is approved and available. Ensure that all purchases should pass independent and government audits.
∎ Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organization and contract/grant budgets
∎ Oversee all purchasing and payroll activities for staffs and participants.
∎ Develop and maintain system of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and oversee federal award and programs
∎ Attending to the board and subcommittee meeting, including being the lead staff on the Audit /Finance committee.
∎ Monitor banking activities of the organization.
∎ Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs
∎ Oversee the daily/monthly production reports including reconciliation with financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive anagement, as well as the Audit /Finance committee and board of directors.
∎ Oversee Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place.
∎ Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis.
∎ Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide business leaders in terms of TAX, VAT, Customs Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
∎ Follow up the works with join stock companies & Firms, DSE, CSE, Bangladesh Bank, Commercial Bank and any other financial institutions as required by the business.
∎ Monitoring and ensuring compliance of IASs/IFSs in preparation of financial statement and ISAs by the auditors in auditing those financial statements.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the management, from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 08 years' experience in preparation of financial statement of Garments sector
