∎ Job Summary: The VAT Executive at Ziska Pharma plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and optimizing VAT-related processes within the organization. This position involves managing VAT documentation, reconciling VAT accounts, providing guidance to internal teams, and staying updated on changes in VAT legislation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VAT, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ VAT Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation, submission, and filing of VAT returns and related documentation in compliance with local and international regulations.
∎ VAT Accounting: Reconcile VAT accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues to maintain accurate financial records.
∎ Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of VAT invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents to support VAT claims and audits.
∎ VAT Analysis: Analyze VAT data to identify trends, potential cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
∎ Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, and Sales, to provide guidance on VAT-related matters and ensure compliance across the organization.
∎ VAT Legislation: Stay current with changes in VAT laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary adjustments.
∎ Audit Support: Assist in VAT audits by providing requested documentation and cooperating with tax authorities to ensure a smooth audit process.
∎ Process Enhancement: Continuously review and improve VAT-related processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy while reducing compliance risks.
∎ Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on VAT-related matters for management and stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification in taxation is a plus.
∎ 3+ years of relevant experience in VAT compliance and accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
∎ Strong understanding of local and international VAT regulations.
∎ Proficiency in using VAT accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
∎ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
