Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ System Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of air-related systems, including compressors, compressed air lines, air conditioning systems, and ventilation systems.
∎ Compressor Operations: Monitor and manage the performance of compressors to ensure reliable and efficient air supply. Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs as necessary.
∎ Compressed Air Lines: Inspect and maintain the compressed air lines, including valves, regulators, filters, and pressure gauges, to ensure consistent and clean air supply to various machines and processes.
∎ Air Conditioning Systems: Manage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems to maintain a comfortable and controlled environment within the facility.
∎ Ventilation Systems: Monitor and maintain the ventilation systems, including fans, ducts, and exhaust systems, to ensure adequate air circulation and removal of pollutants and contaminants.
∎ Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities for energy optimization and implement measures to reduce energy consumption in air-related systems while maintaining optimal performance.
∎ Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards pertaining to air-related systems. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate potential hazards.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system operations, maintenance activities, and safety inspections. Generate reports on equipment performance, energy consumption, and compliance status as required.
∎ Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and operations, to address any issues related to air systems promptly and ensure smooth operations.
∎ Training and Supervision: Train and supervise technicians and operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge for safe and efficient operation and maintenance of air-related systems.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in air system technology, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Specialized training on steam generation / transmission / distribution
∎ Proven work experience in managing air-related systems, including compressors, compressed air lines, air conditioning systems, and ventilation systems
∎ Sound knowledge of air system components, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
∎ Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes, such as ASHRAE, HVAC standards, and safety guidelines.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
∎ Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
∎ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
∎ Proficiency in documenting system operations and generating reports
∎ Leadership skills to supervise and train technicians and operators
∎ Familiarity with energy optimization and sustainability practices in air systems is desirable
∎ Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends
