Experience:

• At least 1 years

• Bachelor`s Degree in any discipline with at least 1 (One) years of experience in the relevant fields. Educational qualifications may be relaxed for internal and female candidates.

• At least 1 years

• Age At most 45 years

• Age must not exceed 45 years (it may be relaxed for extraordinary candidates)

• Have good facilitation, communication, networking, and team-building skills.

• Have good writing skills in preparing reports in English and Bangla

• Have experience in extensive field visits

• Excellent computer literacy is a must

Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) emerged from a humanitarian response in 1975 to help women in need of reproductive health care and counseling. Gradually, it became a registered organization and implemented various projects with support from different development partners in many areas of Bangladesh. Its vision is to Empower women, youths, and adolescents to achieve gender equality and social justice within family and society. The CWFD’s mission is to support, promote, and protect the interests of women in Bangladesh by providing community-based health care, empowering underprivileged adolescents and youth, helping to provide legal support to girls and women- who are victims of domestic violence, and developing human resources for positive social changes. Currently, CWFD is implementing a project named Community Mobilization Program & Marketing Innovation for Sustainable Health Development (MISHD) in collaboration with SMC, which is funded by USAID.

POSITION TITLE: Upazila Supervisor (US)

• Vacant Position: 03 (Three) Capable Females are especially encouraged to apply.

• Job Location: Mathbaria Upazila -1 position under Pirojpur district, Faridgonj Upazila-1 position under Chandpur district, Kalapara Upazila-1 position under Patuakhali district

Job Summary:

• The incumbent will be located in the Upazila Office and implement Community Mobilization activities at the Union and community levels of the Upazila. The person will prepare monthly activity plans and organize and conduct/monitor different types of meetings, sessions, and events at the community level by the Community Mobilizer (CM). The incumbent will monitor all activities in the intervention areas and supervise all CMs of the assigned Upazila. The person will also prepare all kinds of project reports and documents and submit to the DTL and other respective offices on a regular basis.

• The incumbent will maintain all kinds of liaison, coordination, and effective communication among the stakeholders, donor representatives, and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the project activities. The Upazila Supervisor (US) will oversee the Women Entrepreneurs called Gold Star Members (GSMs) activities and will assist the team in undertaking knowledge and skills development initiatives and provide technical support to create awareness and selling of public health products to the community people through the GSMs.

The selected candidate will be offered Tk. 20,000- 22,000 including other benefits as per organization`s policy and project`s budget.

CWFD will adhere to the zero-tolerance policy or position and culture against all forms of abuse, including sexual exploitation and abuse, torture, bullying, etc. Each matter will be taken into full consideration, and immediate action will be taken (conduct investigation in accordance with Chapter VII of the Employment Rules and Punitive Action where applicable).
