Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Fisheries/nutrition/relevant discipline from any Govt. Approved Institution.

Experience Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Location of posting: Ukhiya, Ramu and Chakaria Upazila under Cox`s Bazar district
∎ Contract Duration: 01 Year with possibility of extension

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support in implementing aquaculture activities according to the workplan and scheduled timeline.
∎ Maintain relationship between project target people and the project management through capacity building and technical support activities.
∎ Supervisor Union Nutrition Facilitators (UNFs) while his/her supervisor will be project Nutrition and Aquaculture Coordinator.
∎ Establish and maintain communication with different stakeholders such as local government, upazila fisheries department, upazila department of women and child affairs, upazila health complex, Upazila Nutrition Coordination Committee (UNCC) etc.
∎ Assist Nutrition and Aquaculture Coordinator in preparing monthly progress report with the cooperation of Union Nutrition Facilitators through providing data from UNFs.
∎ Support Union Nutrition Facilitators to conduct training on aquaculture for the project direct beneficiaries in the field.
∎ Monitor project activities through regular visit in the field to ensure quality of the project deliverables and mobilize the Union Nutrition Facilitators.
∎ Attend meetings and workshops with the different stakeholders, funding partners and Prottyashi to inform about the progress of the project activities.
∎ Provide technical support to the direct beneficiaries in case of arising any complication in the field.
∎ Collect data from the Union Nutrition Facilitators through KOBO monitoring tool and submitting to the NAC and central monitoring department.
∎ Collect field level evidence/case studies of project activities through photographs and send it to the central monitoring department.
∎ Establish and maintain relationship with the market actors to help create market linkages among beneficiaries and market actors.
∎ Attend various meetings at the upazila level and presenting the project activities before government authorities when regularly.
∎ Nurturing relationship with the press to mobilize it as and Designing content for proactive media campaign as well as for publishing in local and national media.
∎ Have to be travelling extensively throughout the unions of upazila for smoother implementation of the project activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of professional experience in maintaining aquaculture activities under fisheries projects and in fish farms.
∎ Candidates of Chattogram and Cox's Bazar district having proficiency in local language will be given preference.
∎ Skill of photography
∎ Able to adopt different smart monitoring tools such as KOBO/IDK.
∎ Able to take decision in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task work seamlessly
∎ Able to drive motorcycle for long distances.

Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
