∎ Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation of projects of which 3 years’ experience in implementation of agricultural, market system or entrepreneurship or capacity development project (s).
∎ Strong understanding of agricultural water management, irrigation practices, and sustainable farming techniques.
∎ Experience in conducting training sessions and stakeholder engagement.
∎ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Willingness to travel frequently within the project working area.
∎ Should have a valid driving license of driving motor bike.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop an implementation plan for project activities in the assigned upazila.
∎ Supervise Union Organizers and provide guidance on activity implementation.
∎ Coordinate with irrigation well owners, farmers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
∎ Guide, oversee, and monitor the selection process and socio-economic survey of farmers, irrigation well owners, and entrepreneurs.
∎ Plan and facilitate workshops and training sessions on AWD technology, business management, and irrigation practices.
∎ Provide technical support for the capacity development of farmers, irrigation well owners, and entrepreneurs.
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor activity implementation and identify challenges.
∎ Document field insights, collect information for case studies, and report challenges and lessons learned.
∎ Plan and facilitate regular meetings with union and upazila-level stakeholders.
∎ Support data collection, studies, and surveys as required by the project.
∎ Compile and submit detailed reports on upazila-level activities, progress, challenges, and outcomes.
∎ Maintain regular communication and update progress with the Project Manager, and coordinate with the Technical Expert, Monitoring and Research Officer, and Accounts Department.
∎ Represent the project in upazila-level stakeholder meetings and forums.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to oversee and coordinate the implementation of our project activities at the upazila level under the “Adoption of Water-saving irrigation technology to reduce climate change effect for sustainable livelihoods of farmers Project”. The Upazila Manager will ensure alignment with project objectives, effective coordination with stakeholders, and sustainable adoption of water-saving technology in agriculture.
∎ Project Period: 13 March 2025 - 12 March 2027
∎ Key Responsibilities:
