Experience:
Master's degree in Public Health, Rural Development, Water & Sanitation, or a related field.
Must have 5–7 years of practical experience in the healthcare or public health sector.
Proven experience in coordinating with government health departments, specifically the Civil Surgeon Office, Upazila Health Complex, or the Department of Family Planning.
Experience in implementing Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) programs will be considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience in implementing health programs focused on adolescents, women, and the elderly
Prior experience in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs alongside health initiatives will be considered a significant advantage.
Expertise in data collection and analysis to monitor health outcomes and generate comprehensive health development reports.
Proficiency in developing training modules, creating impactful PowerPoint presentations, and drafting monthly and annual project reports.
Strong staff management and team leadership skills, with the ability to oversee community-level interventions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bengali and English, with a specific focus on professional English report writing.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in using the internet for professional purposes.

We are looking for a strategic and high-performing District Coordinator to lead the implementation of the project on "Healthy Aging Promotion in Environmentally and Socially Vulnerable Areas under Satkhira District." Based in Satkhira, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing the entire district operation, managing field teams, and ensuring that project milestones for NCD prevention and water-health linkages are met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Implementation & Management (40%)
Develop detailed monthly and quarterly work plans for project activities in the district, aligned with the overall project objectives.
The District Coordinator is responsible for management within the district and for coordinating with the Project Director (PD) and IT Officer who are based outside the district.
Oversee and ensure the timely and quality implementation of all project activities, including health camps, educational workshops, training sessions, and advocacy meetings.
Ensure adherence to project guidelines, protocols, and ethical standards in all activities.
Identify and address implementation challenges promptly, proposing solutions to the Project Director (PD).
Manage project resources (financial, human, material) efficiently within the district budget.
Staff Management & Capacity Building (25%)
Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to staff.
Organize and facilitate ongoing training and capacity-building sessions for staff on NCDs, healthy aging, water-health linkages, data collection, and community engagement techniques.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting accountability and professional growth.
Coordination & Partnership (15%)
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with target Community Groups (CGs), Ageing Club, and local community leaders.
Coordinate effectively with relevant government departments at the district level (Administrative, Health, Water & Sanitation, Social Welfare, Education).
Liaise with other local NGOs, CBOs, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
Facilitate inter-departmental meetings and dialogues to strengthen integrated approaches to health and water issues.
Information Collection, Analysis & Reporting (15%):
Oversee the systematic collection of project data (attendance records, screening results, pre/post-test scores, case studies, field observations) from all activities.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely submission by field staff.
Conduct regular analysis of collected data to monitor progress against indicators, identify trends, and inform adaptive management.
Prepare comprehensive and analytical monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc progress reports for submission to the Project Director, highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
Contribute to the development of project success stories and communication materials.
Monitoring & Evaluation (5%)
Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of activity implementation and gather feedback from beneficiaries and staff.
Participate in baseline, mid-term, and end-line surveys and evaluations as required.
Ensure that monitoring findings are integrated into planning and implementation to continuously improve project effectiveness.
