Job Context:
∎ The Asia Arsenic Network (AAN) an international NGO is seeking candidates for following positions to be stationed in Jhenaidah District, to conduct a project on "Promotion of Water Management and Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture in Jhenaidah District" shortly call SAP-2 project financed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Japan for the period of February 2021 to January 2024.
∎ Upazila Coordinator (UC)-(to be stationed in Shailkupa or Moheshpur Upazilas)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-year experience on agriculture related project.
∎ Skill to organize workshops, trainings, various types of survey conduct and case study writing.
∎ Good coordination skill with government institutions, private companies, and other bodies at Upazilla level.
∎ Good management skill on personnel and accounting system.
∎ Sound knowledge on water management in agriculture, climate change adaptation, seed preservation, vermin-compost production, soil nutrient, pest control and safe food production.
∎ Good reporting and communication skills
∎ Knowledge and experience in construction management.
∎ Able to ride a motorcycle with a valid driving license.
∎ Good computer knowledge (especially MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet using, Google drive, Facebook, Zoom).
