Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Upazila Coordinator for this project. The positions confirmation is subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama/Alikadom
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazila
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead implementation of planned project activities in the respective Upazila and unions
∎ Ensure coordination among project components (health, WASH and child protection) at the upazila level
∎ Guide field team to conduct assessment of existing health facilities to support project team for preparedness for COVID response
∎ Lead all Upazilla level activities for community sensitization and awareness raising, hygiene promotion, community mobilization in regard to COVID 19 prevention and precaution
∎ Strengthen referral linkages with different health service centres, promote accountability, support to Mobile Medical team to reduce diseases progression.
∎ Supervise and guide Union and community level staff, ensure proper execution of Union Facilitator & CHW work plan integrating all subsector activities.
∎ Compile Union Facilitator reports and prepare monthly activity report
∎ Maintain coordination with the Health and Family Planning Departments, DPHE, Local government and other implementing NGOs for effective implementation of program activities
∎ Review project performance and take necessary actions for further improvement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 5 years experiences of working in an officer position of a development project related to WASH, Child Protection and Health in any NGOs.
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in any public health and WASH program
∎ Experience in working closely with GOB Health, Family Planning, LGI and development organizations
∎ Ability to manage complex and diverse workloads
∎ Ability to work in team approach, work collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary
∎ Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email and web browsing
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Written and verbal skills in both Bengali and English
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
