Job Context:
∎ Radicalization and extremism is growing day by day. The proposes project is to counter the growing radicalization and violent extremism in Bangladesh through a community-led approach which addresses the drivers of radicalization and violence. The project will empower political, social and religious leaders, youth, women, media and other opinion leaders in the society as champions of peace, non-violence and peaceful co-existence.
∎ The project will bridge two generations by creating a group of mentors from political, religious and social leaders, and at the same time creating a group of PVE activists from youths and women. The youths and women will be the main force for creating awareness and mobilizing the community with support from the mentors. They will carry out campaigns designed to address identity-based prejudice as a source of hate speech and hate crimes and encourage communities to ensure a prejudice-free childhood. Through various tools campaigns and engagement will enrich and empower a wide range of stakeholders.
∎ The principal goal of the project is "Building community resilience to address the growing problem of radicalization and extremism in Bangladesh".
Job Responsibilities:
∎ All post are at Bagerhat District..
∎ To coordinate all program activities which include smooth implementation, supervision, monitoring of the project activities;
∎ Coordinate with partner organizations and develop network;
∎ Lead, supervise and monitor the union coordinator
∎ Impart training, workshop and develop training materials;
∎ Mobilize and motivate the political activists, religious leaders, students, women leader, local elected representatives and grassroots people;
∎ Arrange monthly planing, review and follow up meeting.
∎ Maintain close relationship with local political leaders, member of the civil society, religious leaders, and others stakeholders of the project to ensure their support to achieve the project goal.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual narrative project reports.
∎ Continuously review information and learning from field.
∎ Any other work required by Project management.
∎ Strictly look after the financial management of the project
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good knowledge in computer operation. Skills in Bangla and English typing is essential.
Salary: Negotiable

∎ This is a project based employment. Others financial benefit like provident fund, gratuity, medical support, insurance coverage, festival as per HR policy of the organisation.
