Job Context:
∎ August 2022 to December 2025
∎ Agrogoti Sangstha is looking for dynamic Unit Manager (UM) for its’ livelihood project titled ‘Strengthening the Resilience and Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable Groups and Empowering Civil Society in the Context of Climate Change in Bangladesh’ supported by NETZ Bangladesh. The details eligibility and requirement of the position as mentioned below;
∎ Work Station: Khulna District (Koyra or Paikgacha) with frequent field visit
∎ Job Nature: Full time up to project period based on satisfactory performance
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination of all programme activities in a Upazila/Unit
∎ Act as a team leader at Upazila level
∎ Coordination and establishment of all CSOs
∎ Regular visits to village groups, CSOs and secondary schools
∎ Coordination of training activities for the target group
∎ Coordination of dialogue meetings between civil society and authorities
∎ Coordination of climate-resilient livelihood opportunities
∎ Communication with local authorities and service providers
∎ Management, supervise, monitoring and evaluation of programme staffs and their activities
∎ Ensuring pandemic-related protective measures at meetings.
∎ Prepare reports and other documents as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years experience in implementing project of similar nature
∎ Willing to work in team and able to manage diversified staffs and supervision skill
∎ Adequate computer (Ms word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT skills
∎ Language skills in both Bangla and English
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Knowledge of IGA related activities and climate change issues
∎ Possess excellent interpersonal communication skill
∎ Knowledge and experience on general administration, project and financial management
∎ Prepare periodic reports and documentation
∎ Ability to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license
∎ Willing to visit field frequently
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Salary:
∎ BDT 33,000 per month, festival bonus and other benefits as per organization policy
