Educational Requirements:
∎ A University degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or IT-related fields is required;
∎ Professional certifications, e.g. CFR/C|SA, CEH/CPEH, CPT/LPT, CDFE / CHFI/ LFE, CNSS/ CCybercops, CISM/CISSP etc. are preferred;
∎ SOC Tools training/certification (SIEM/SOAR/Threat Intelligence etc.) are preferred;

∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to the information security vision and programming for policy creation, training, and risk assessment to ensure that information assets and technologies are adequately protected;
∎ Lead the security operations team, and provide leadership, coordination, and operational management;
∎ Contribute to developing strategies, setting goals, and providing performance and professional development feedback to continually improve the SOC and manage security policies, procedures, and processes;
∎ Analyze and architect complex solutions to information technology cyber security threats that relate to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems;
∎ Ensure Security Operations (24x7), optimize and maintain the configuration of security tools, and ensure data feeds are continually available and trustworthy;
∎ Provide threat and vulnerability analysis and incident reporting;
∎ Analyze and detect security threats using threat intelligence-based detection, user and attacker behavior analysis;
∎ Keep abreast of the latest security legislation, regulations, adversaries, alerts, and vulnerabilities;
∎ Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed vulnerabilities
∎ Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of work experience in Information Security as a primary responsibility, or minimum 12 years of IT experience with 5 years as a core focus on incident monitoring and detection;
∎ Technical knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), SQL, TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching, Programming languages, IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing, forensics, firewall, and intrusion detection/prevention protocols, Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems, network protocols, and packet analysis tools, next-gen AV, DLP, email, storage, Syslog, Windows Server, Identity Access Management;
∎ Prior experience detecting, analyzing, and/or responding to security incidents with a practical understanding of common security threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities and exploits are a must.
∎ Candidates with prior experience as a SOC Manager will get an advantage;
∎ High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally and demonstrate the appropriate level of judgment and maturity in risk decision-making;
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Self-starter, ability to work in a team environment and independently and adjust to changing priorities, critical and strategic thinker, negotiator, and consensus builder;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
∎ Strong customer service attitude and should be ready to work in shifts;
∎ Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals;
∎ Expert in customer-centricity, results-oriented, and self-propelled.
