Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Union Facilitator for this project. The positions confirmation is subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead implementation of planned project activities in the selected unions
∎ Ensure r effective implementation of health, WASH and child protection activities in the selected unions and coordination among the components
∎ Community level sensitization and awareness raising, hygiene promotion, community mobilization in regard to COVID 19 prevention and precaution
∎ Strengthen referral linkages with different community level health service centres, promote accountability,
∎ Support to Mobile Medical team for home based care of patients with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19.
∎ Ensure proper execution of CHW work plan integrating all subsector activities.
∎ Maintain coordination with the Union level Health and Family Planning authorities, DPHE staff, Local government bodies and other implementing NGOs for effective implementation of program activities
∎ Full time, based in Upazila office with extensive involvement at union and village level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 3 years working experiences as Facilitator in Health WASH and Child Protection program in any development organization.
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in any maternal, child health and WASH program
∎ Experience in working closely with GOB Health, Family Planning, LGI and development organizations
∎ Ability to manage complex and diverse workloads
∎ Ability to work in team approach, work collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary
∎ Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email and web browsing
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Written and verbal skills in both Bengali and English
∎ Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
