Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will lead or take part in the entire cycle of mobile and web software architecting for User Interface (UI) design and delivery from ideation to deployment and everything in between.
∎ You will design User Interface (UI) solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while staying within constraints.
∎ You will use continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed.
∎ Work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences.
∎ Utilize the latest technology thinking from our tech radar in your work.
∎ Apply a variety of languages to your work and continue to code alongside Developers.
∎ You will be excited to use your skills to contribute to Friendship NGO and you will have a flair for the following:
∎ HTML5 / CSS
∎ Javascript (preferred React.js framework along with ionic for cross platform development)
∎ RESTful API creation and documentation
∎ GIT or similar tools
∎ Data Driven visualization
∎ MySQL / Postgresql
∎ Additionally, if you know the following, it would be great:
∎ Python
∎ Postman API (for testing and management)
∎ React Studio
∎ Good User eXperience (UX) skills
∎ You have led software development teams using Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and (preferably) infrastructure automation.
∎ Clear concept on background service, multi-threading, push notification
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in application development especially in Mobile app development for the Android and the iOS platforms.
∎ High level of competency on designing application GUI.
∎ Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
∎ Leadership qualities to drive forward with confidence and quality.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good English writing and speaking skills.
∎ Commitment to and enthusiasm for organization mission and respect for the organization's core value
