Experience:

Job Summary:
The Training Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs under the "Gender Uplifting for Inclusive Development and Community Empowerment" project. This role involves working closely with diverse stakeholders, including community members, civil society organizations (CSOs), and project staff, to enhance their knowledge and skills in gender equality, community empowerment, and inclusive development practices. The Training Officer will ensure that training initiatives are effectively tailored to meet the needs of participants and align with the project`s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Needs Assessment
Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills related to gender equality, community empowerment, and inclusive development among project beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Collaborate with project staff and community leaders to prioritize training needs based on community context, project goals, and target populations.
2. Training Program Design and Development
Develop and design inclusive and gender-sensitive training curricula and materials that address the identified needs of participants.
Create engaging and interactive training modules that incorporate adult learning principles, ensuring that content is relevant and accessible to all participants.
Tailor training programs to different audience segments, including community members, CSOs, and project staff, while considering cultural and contextual factors.
3. Training Delivery and Facilitation
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building activities using participatory methodologies that encourage active engagement and learning.
Employ various training techniques, such as group discussions, role-plays, simulations, and multimedia presentations, to enhance understanding and retention of key concepts.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences and perspectives.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation of Training Activities
Develop evaluation tools and metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs on participants` knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to gender and community empowerment.
Collect and analyze feedback from participants to inform continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods.
Prepare reports on training outcomes, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
5. Capacity Building and Support
Provide ongoing support and mentorship to participants following training sessions to reinforce learning and facilitate the application of new skills in their respective contexts.
Collaborate with CSOs and local partners to strengthen their training capabilities, ensuring they can effectively deliver gender and empowerment training in their communities.
6. Collaboration and Partnership Management
Work closely with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to align training initiatives with broader project objectives and ensure coherence in capacity-building efforts.
Foster collaborative relationships with community organizations and other stakeholders to promote shared learning and resource exchange.
7. Advocacy and Awareness Raising
Support advocacy efforts related to gender equality and community empowerment by developing training materials and tools that can be utilized in awareness-raising campaigns.
Participate in community events and forums to promote the importance of gender equality and the impact of the project`s training initiatives.
Job Location: Naria, Shariatpur with frequent field visits to other project upazilas and grassroots project locations.
Monthly salary and allowances will be Tk 49,000 / -, in addition two (2) festival bonus in a year.
