  • Must have 15 years of senior level working experience in domestic or international development organizations.

  • Note: Good computer skills in Microsoft Office package (MS Word, AS Excel, Power Point) are mandatory. Must have very good speaking and writing skills in both Bengali and English.Preference will be given to female candidates.



Responsibilities & Context:

Naria Unnayan Samity (NUSA), MRA Certified (00046-00327-00422), as an associate organization of PKSF, has been implementing credit activities and other social development-related works with good reputation in Shariatpur, Madaripur, Chandpur, Faridpur, Barisal and Munshiganj districts for a long time. Currently, the organization is going to recruit for the vacant post of Deputy Executive Director.

Responsibilities

Organizational Development & Strategic Support

  • Support the Executive Director in ensuring the overall institutional development, strategic growth, and effective functioning of the organization in line with NUSA's mission, vision, and long-term goals.

Programme Oversight, Monitoring & Quality Assurance

  • Provide overall supervision and monitoring of ongoing programmes and projects to ensure timely implementation, quality delivery, compliance with organizational standards, and achievement of intended results.

Resource Mobilization & Partnership Development

  • Lead and support resource mobilization efforts by identifying new funding opportunities, developing project concepts and proposals, and engaging with bilateral, multilateral, development partners, foundations, and corporate entities.

Organizational Expansion & New Initiatives

  • Contribute to the expansion of NUSA's programme portfolio by onboarding new projects, grants, and innovative initiatives aligned with community needs and donor priorities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Donor Relations

  • Maintain regular and effective communication with partner organizations, donor agencies, government institutions, and other key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, coordination, and visibility of NUSA's work.

Team Leadership & Capacity Development

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to team members by delegating responsibilities, mentoring staff, strengthening capacities, and conducting regular performance evaluation to ensure accountability and professional growth.

Inter-agency Coordination & Representation

  • Support inter-organizational coordination, represent NUSA in relevant national and international forums, meetings, and networks, and contribute to policy dialogue and advocacy initiatives when required.

Reporting, Knowledge Management & Compliance

  • Oversee preparation and review of project reports, progress updates, and organizational documents, ensuring accuracy, transparency, learning, and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director or Governing Body in the interest of the organization.
