Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the development and updating of training modules in collaboration with technical teams to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
∎ Provide support in designing and developing content for in-person and online training programs, ensuring suitability for the target audience.
∎ Assist in conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars using interactive adult learning methods.
∎ Collaborate with technical teams to update and maintain training manuals on the e-learning platform.
∎ Support the organization and implementation of training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement.
∎ Assist in monitoring and evaluating training programs, including the preparation of progress and impact assessment reports.
∎ Assist to ensure all training documents are well-organized and easily accessible to trainers and participants, often through shared folders or digital platforms
∎ Conduct field visits outside Dhaka to gather insights and assess the implementation of training programs.
∎ Assist in preparing bilingual (Bangla and English) training content and reports to support training initiatives.
∎ Prepare training-related procurement documents through the online-based system.
∎ Work closely with the admin and operations team to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of training activities.
∎ Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld.
∎ Assist in maintaining and updating databases related to training participants, schedules, and feedback.
∎ Support the communication team in documenting training activities, including capturing photos, videos, and testimonials for reports and promotional purposes.

∎ Democracy International in Bangladesh, implemented by Democracy International (DI), is designed to improve the capacity of political parties to operate effectively and democratically, improve the environment for meaningful collaboration between political parties and politically active citizen organizations, and improve democratic attitudes and reduce conflict in the political parties to help strengthen the political landscape in Bangladesh.
∎ Job Summary
∎ Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire a Training Officer for the Strengthening Political Landscape in Bangladesh (SPL) Project. DI is implementing projects to promote broader participation in Bangladeshi major political parties by increasing youth and women’s representation, promoting intra-party democracy, facilitating inter-party relationships, bringing parties together around local priority issues, and improving the environment for more responsive politics. DI is recruiting full-time Training Officer in Dhaka. This role is only open to citizens of Bangladesh. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The ideal candidate must be an experienced, highly motivated professional with a demonstrated track record of assisting and executing training and capacity-building activities.
