∎ PROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox's Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community in Bhasan Char Island with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Training Center Supervisor for the “Promoting shelter upgradation and community building for Rohingya Refugees in Bhasan char and Cox's Bazar District” Project.
∎ Training Center Supervisor will report to Training Center Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Assist in identifying and selecting beneficiaries of the project following the beneficiary selection criteria.
∎ Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.
∎ Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
∎ Create batches of the beneficiaries for the arrangement of the vocational skill training in the targeted camps.
∎ Mobilize the project beneficiaries to adopt the project deliveries through active participation.
∎ Organize selected Rohingya beneficiaries for timely participation in the vocational skill training sessions.
∎ Support distribution of the input supports to the graduated beneficiaries on self-employment generation.
∎ Support the beneficiaries to develop self-employment initiative with the input supports provided and manufacturing of the products at the camp level.
∎ Ensure marketing of the products of participants through maintaining communication with market actors.
∎ Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries’ households and providing necessary guidance.
∎ Coordinate with market actors to instigate income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in tracking income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist Training Center Manager to link the beneficiaries with the market actors relevant to the preferred businesses of the beneficiaries.
∎ Organize product exhibitions, linkage building meetings to promote products of the beneficiaries at the island.
