∎ Job Summary: Village Education and Resources Center is a non-profit national development organization build a partnership with CARE Bangladesh under USAID`s Women Thrive in Bangladesh Activity program funded by USAID and PVH envisions to economically empower women by creating decent work and ensuring a life of dignity. It specifically aims to enhance skills, leadership and collective action of women workers in RMG and informal sector for greater security of life and livelihoods. Similarly to increase resilience of women workers and their communities to adapt to and recover from COVID-19 related impact on life and essential services and increase responsiveness of institutions to address impact of COVID-19 and gender equality in the world of work. It will reach around 110,100 women in Dhaka, Gazipur, Ashulia, Savar, Narayangonj and Chittagong for creating decent work opportunities.

∎ VERC is looking for Trainers (7positions) to facilitate factory level training following the training plan of the project. S/he will be responsible for facilitating, monitoring and following up training activities and the participants. He/she will provide close support to Community Facilitators to ensure quality of capacity building activities. S/he will assist to the project management in identifying and implementing strategies on the ground particularly with an aim to promote innovative solutions to ensure full participation of the project participants in the training session. S/he will assist to the Project Officer/ Project Manager in developing and implementing capacity-building initiatives for the project staffs and monitor the progress of training facilitation, and networking along with implementation of appropriate approaches, strategies and program management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 3 years (at least 2 years in development program management/ project coordination, work with garments workers is preferred)
∎ Skills:
∎ Excellent skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication
∎ Communication skills in Bangla and in English
∎ Candidate Attitude regarding Gender/PSEA & others policies and Code of conduct of the organization
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age limit and educational qualification would be relaxed. Women and persons with special needs are equally eligible to apply for the said post.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
