Job Context:
∎ Prottyashi, A social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment and currently been implementing a project to ensure safe, orderly and regular migration for the returnee migrants, migrant workers, potential migrants and their family members with the funding and technical support of Helvetas Bangladesh. Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Trainer for "Strengthened and Informative Migration Systems (SIMS)" Project.
∎ Reporting : Trainer will report to District Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization
∎ Contract Duration: Initially for up to 31 December 2022 with possibility of further 1 year depending on the performance and funding availability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize and conduct PDMO sessions for the aspirant migrant workers and guide them to better understand the benefits of safe migration.
∎ Develop relevant training plan, preparing training report and make proper use of the materials and tools of the project.
∎ Take part in local level forum/ committee formation and awareness campaign (i.e. Migration Forum/ MRPC/ GMC/ Local Leader/ Peer Informant/ Courtyard sessions/ Video shows/ IPT shows), organize and facilitate or co-facilitate the capacity building process/ activities accordingly.
∎ Conduct need-based trainings under three thematic areas of the project.
∎ Assist in monitoring beneficiaries under skill referral mechanism.
∎ Maintain direct field engagement in cooperation with the POs, Upazila Coordinators and Social Mobilizers
∎ Maintain communication and coordination with relevant officials of Prottyashi
∎ Any other related tasks assigned by the Organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Technical Skills : Proven skills in NGO Training and field facilitation are essential.
∎ Must have working writing and speaking capacity in English and Bangla, i.e. field visit report, event report, case study/story, content writing, etc.
∎ Able to take work in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task approach seamlessly
∎ Must be able to drive Motorcycle and have a valid driving license.

Salary: Tk. 20900 (Monthly)
