Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct fare searches, provide fare quotes, make bookings, issue tickets, re-issue tickets, cancel, VOID tickets, and process refunds.
∎ Stay updated on airline/travel notices and circulars, and share relevant updates with others.
∎ Maintain a positive working relationship with airlines and GDS personnel.
∎ Provide excellent customer service and possess strong communication skills.
∎ Offer support to the Visa and Package Tour Processing sectors as needed.
∎ Be knowledgeable of airline terms and conditions, as well as ADM/ACM policies.
∎ Understand international ticketing rules and regulations.
∎ Have a good understanding of airline schedules and processes.
∎ Manage corporate clients through email and other communication methods.
∎ Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Educational Requirements:Minimum Qualification: HSC or equivalentTraining/Trade Course: NHTTI (preferred) or any advanced GDS-related certificationSkills Required: Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, GDS systems A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration, is preferred.
∎ GDS Expert – Sabre Red 360A GDS expert with at least 1 year of advanced-level reservation and ticketing experience on Sabre systems (experience with other systems will be considered a plus).Role Description:FlyGer Holidays Ltd. in Dhaka is hiring a full-time, on-site GDS Expert specializing in Sabre. Responsibilities include managing Sabre GDS tasks like reservations, fare calculations, ticketing, and customer support. Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience are required.Job Responsibilities:Respond promptly to customer queries at the office or from home.
