Job Context:
∎ Spring Rain is seeking TEST AND QUALITY ENGINEER to join their talented Dhaka based team and assist in the ongoing testing and quality initiatives of their technology platform.
∎ On a day to day basis, you will be testing a LAMP based application that is a complex system which offers a variety of different testing challenges. Some primary testing concerns are usability, accessibility, security, performance, load, cross-browser compatibility, third-party integration to name just a few.
∎ You will be working in an Agile environment and will be involved from design right through to implementation, release and post-release, making this a challenging role that will suit any tester with a special interest in improving software from day one of the development cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create, Plan and build the Test Strategy and Approach for deployment releases, facilitating reviews by stakeholders, keeping documentation updated
∎ Test analysis. A knack for identifying testing blindspots that engineers tend to have.
∎ Automation. You have experience with lifting up an engineering team with your automation and testing knowledge.
∎ Collaboration. The ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
∎ Mentoring. You don't just aim to get the job done, but teach others how to think like you and multiply your skills across the team.
∎ Pro-activeness. You embody an approach of asking for assistance and calling out problems, at both a technical and team level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 1 years' minimum software testing experience with strong recent experience testing web applications and mobile platforms/devices
∎ Experience working in an Agile environment
∎ Practical SQL knowledge
∎ Experience testing REST and SOAP API's
∎ Experience and understanding of cross-browser compatibility and testing
∎ Deep understanding of the software development life cycle
∎ Strong motivation and intellect
∎ Resourcefulness, independence and energy
∎ Competence in requirements analysis and testing
∎ Excellent technical and organisational skills
∎ Flexibility and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stake holders
∎ Experience working as a Tester in an Agile environment
∎ Tertiary Qualifications in IT or a related field
∎ Experience in Service/ Finance Oriented Testing is desirable
∎ Experience with Accessibility Testing
∎ Experience with Automated Testing
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 40000 (Monthly)
