Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose
The Territory Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, developing distributor networks, ensuring product availability, and driving sustainable business growth within the assigned territory. The incumbent will lead and supervise the field sales team to strengthen Dolphy's market presence and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Increase market penetration and market share through effective sales execution.
- Identify new business opportunities, distributors, and sales channels.
- Ensure maximum product availability and visibility in all assigned markets.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors in accordance with company guidelines.
- Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and financial health.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy distributor relationships.
- Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Explore new markets and strengthen existing markets.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotional campaigns, and market trends.
- Recommend strategic actions to enhance business growth and competitiveness.
- Ensure proper utilization of company assets, including freezers, vehicles, and promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, market intelligence reports, and performance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
