Technical Skills:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Data & AI technologies

• Strong proficiency in SQL

• Experience with Azure Data Factory

• Hands-on experience with Power BI

• Working knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics

• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage

• Basic experience with Azure Machine Learning or AI services

Professional Skills:

• Strong analytical and data problem-solving skills

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technology Specialist – Microsoft Data & AI with 2–3 years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and supporting data engineering, analytics, and AI-driven solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role involves working on data integration, analytics platforms, reporting solutions, and foundational AI workloads to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will contribute to end-to-end data solutions, from data ingestion to analytics and visualization, while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Data Platform & Engineering

• Design, implement, and support Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure

• Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and data structures

• Support Azure Synapse Analytics (dedicated & serverless) workloads

• Perform data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning (basic to intermediate)

Data Integration & Pipelines

• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion and transformation

• Integrate data from on-premises, cloud, and SaaS sources

• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data quality

• Support ELT/ETL processes and scheduling

Analytics & Reporting

• Develop and support Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards

• Implement basic DAX measures and optimize report performance

• Support data validation and reconciliation processes

• Collaborate with business users to translate reporting requirements

AI & Advanced Analytics (Applied Basics)

• Support Azure Machine Learning workspaces and experiments

• Assist in data preparation and model deployment (basic)

• Work with built-in AI services where applicable

• Follow responsible AI and data governance guidelines

Operations, Support & Optimization

• Provide L2/L3 support for data platforms and analytics solutions

• Monitor performance, cost, and availability of data services

• Implement security controls for data access and compliance

• Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and runbooks
