Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technology Specialist – Microsoft Azure with 2–3 years of practical experience in implementing, supporting, and operating Microsoft Azure cloud and hybrid environments. The role involves working on Azure infrastructure deployments, day-to-day cloud operations, troubleshooting, optimization, and security, supporting enterprise customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will be capable of independently handling L2/L3 support activities, contributing to implementation projects, and following Microsoft best practices and cloud governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Implementation & Operations

• Implement and support Azure Virtual Machines, scale sets, and availability architectures

• Deploy and manage Azure Storage services (Blob, File, Disk, Backup Vaults)

• Support Azure App Services and basic PaaS workloads

• Perform Azure resource provisioning using Azure Portal, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform (basic)

Azure Networking

• Design, implement, and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, NSGs, and UDRs

• Support Azure VPN Gateway and hybrid connectivity scenarios

• Implement and support Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway

• Troubleshoot Azure networking and connectivity issues

Azure Security & Governance

• Configure and manage Azure RBAC and least-privilege access models

• Implement Azure Policies, tagging, and governance controls

• Support Microsoft Defender for Cloud and security recommendations

• Assist in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities

Monitoring, Backup & Resilience

• Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, and dashboards

• Implement and support Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery

• Monitor availability, performance, and cost optimization

Support & Troubleshooting

• Handle L2/L3 Azure incidents, root-cause analysis, and service restoration

• Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of Azure workloads

• Work closely with vendors and Microsoft support when required

• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI

• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and standardization initiatives
