Practical knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold rooms, milk chillers, and HVAC equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical faults.
Hands-on experience with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and temperature control systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Basic understanding of electrical safety and workplace hygiene.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hardworking, responsible, and willing to work in shifts when required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Operate and maintain refrigeration systems, cold rooms, milk chillers, and HVAC equipment.
Perform routine inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration and cooling equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot technical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Inspect and maintain temperature controllers, sensors, thermostats, and related electrical components.
Monitor cold room and chilling system temperatures according to operational requirements.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues to the supervisor.
Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure the proper handling of tools and equipment.
