Job Responsibilities:
∎ Train potential youths to develop as nursery grower entrepreneurs, at least 20% are women.
∎ Support to community people to develop community level nursery, 2,500 seedlings in each nursery.
∎ Organize training for and follow up support to farmers growing high value agroforestry products.
∎ Organize training for honey beekeepers, and provide follow up support to the honey beekeepers.
∎ Consultative workshop with relevant stakeholders on agroforestry development issues.
∎ Training for key stakeholders (Union and Upazila) on the agroforestry concept and principles, its importance and planning.
∎ Assisting IFM-FFS groups to develop and implement Agroforestry Development Plans, with at least 30% of the community members involved in drafting the plans being women, and with at least 50% women implementing improved agroforestry systems
∎ Seedling distribution to IFM-FFS.
∎ Organize World Environment Day and award giving ceremony to best performing communities on agroforestry.
∎ Report writing in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
∎ Any task assigned by Project Manager in relation with IFM-FFS project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor Degree in Agroforestry/ Agricultural Sciences/Environmental Management or any other relevant discipline from a reputed university.
∎ Minimum 4 years' experience with good track record of working in agroforestry or related livelihood development projects.
∎ Planning and implementation of Agroforestry intervention based on IFM- FFS approach will be preferred.
∎ Coordination and communication with relevant stakeholders and organize field events timely and quality.
∎ Prepare budget and confirm expenditure within the timeframe.
∎ Prepare reports and share accordingly.
∎ Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skill;
∎ Ability to work and lead a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines;
∎ Fluency in English language, writing and proficiency in computer application.
∎ Good ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team.
∎ Willing and able to travel independently outside station.
∎ Able to drive motor cycle with valid driving license.
Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
