Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in proposal development and fundraising·
Excellent knowledge of the Bangladesh context, ideally related to: WASH, Energy, Agriculture, and/or Climate & Resilience·
Experience of developing and leading ambitious, viable strategies.
Proven track record of leading portfolio growth·
High calibre representation and leadership in partnership building.

This position is responsible for identification new business/funding opportunities, leading on development of concept notes and proposals (as requested), keeping track on past, current and new business opportunities, coordinating resource mobilization strategy and donor cultivation plans of Practical Action, to successfully deliver results, build/maintain relationships and secure funds from existing and potential donors/partners.
Proposal Development (50%)
Share donor intelligence to others in the country office and internationally weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Assess donor calls and prepare opportunity summary, check organizational and donor fit.
Support the process of Go/ No Go, bid timeline development, reviewing etc. in collaboration with Country Director and other Programme leads.
Support to organize proposal development meetings including project design workshops.
Support to write different sections of concept notes and proposals as assigned by the Country Director, taking inputs from thematic leads, finance, M&E and P&C.
Undertake field trips as required for proposal development.
Help to coordinate the Extended Business Development Taskforce.
Donor Networking, Partnership Engagement: (40%)
Support Country Director and Thematic leads in donor networking, organizing donor meetings, events etc.
Support Country Director and Thematic Leads in maintaining donor contact and engagement pipeline (CRM)
Work closely with Country Director, Thematic leads, Lead - Advocacy and Communication for partnership engagement and due diligence etc.
Support development of capability statements, fact sheets etc. in coordination with Country Director, Communication and Program.
Others (10%)
Assist in maintaining and analyzing pipeline (country, regional, UK).
Supporting PAMs, HubSpot etc. as required.
Support and coordinate providing monthly, quarterly and annual analysis /reports to M&E as required.
