Educational Requirements:
∎ MS or Bachelor in Agriculture will be preferable.
Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: Initially for 11 month with possibility of further extension depending on the performance and funding availability.
∎ Job Summary: Prottyashi, A social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment and currently is going to implement a project to increase the resilience of the host community people and Rohingya refugees in Cox`s Bazar district by improving food security, reducing disaster vulnerability, and increasing social cohesion in partnership with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation. Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Technical Officer for "Supporting Harmony Improving Nutrition and Environment for the Rohingya and Host Community (SHINE)" project.
∎ Reporting: Technical Officer will report to Project Manager of Prottyashi. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to FF and livelihood beneficiaries of both host and rohinga community.
∎ Prepare Training module and conduct training as per project guideline and budget;
∎ Maintain liaison with LGI. Upazila stakeholder and also with RRRC authority.
∎ Maintain coordination with different NGO network and platform of food security and livelihood.
∎ Provide capacity building training to LSP and project staffs on GAP and climate smart agriculture.
∎ Motivate and facilitate the LSP and commercial farmers in value chain approach.
∎ Innovate and demonstrate and replicate the climate smart technologies in the community.
∎ Supervise the FFs and monitor the project activities and results.
∎ Collect and analyze data, prepare event report, weekly report, monitoring report and case study.
∎ Assist project manager to prepare monthly report and other activities as per need of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Excellent Technical skill with
∎ Writing and oral communication skills in English.
∎ Experience in liaison and networking with regional level GO and NGOs;
∎ Excellent knowledge about food security and livelihood, climate change and disaster.
∎ Experience in Governance and gender.
∎ Excellent leadership capacity, dedicated to duties and rapid problem solving capacity.
∎ Prior working experience as PO will given preferences.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 48,520 BDT with contributory provident fund 2250, festival bonus monthly 4230 and regular traveling and communication bill.
