Salary: Tk. 50000 - 80000 (Monthly)

• Age 35 to 55 years

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in Sweater/Knitwear Industry with R&D Experience.

• Strong background in R&D / Product Development is mandatory.

1. Review buyer Tech Packs and conduct detailed Risk Assessment during R&D stage.

2. Lead R&D activities including new design development, yarn selection, stitch development, and cost-effective construction.

3. Identify potential defect points, critical operations, and non-value-added activities and take corrective actions while maintaining buyer requirements.

4. Coordinate with Sample Designers, Programmers, and Technicians to ensure correct development samples.

5. Conduct final inspection and approval of development, proto, fit, and size-set samples.

6. Work closely with Merchandising Team to ensure on-time sample development and submission.

7. Review size-set samples, highlight critical issues, and lead discussions during PPM (Pre-Production Meeting).

8. Ensure quality, feasibility, and production readiness of developed styles.

9. Support continuous improvement in sampling process, efficiency, and innovation.

10. Provide staff development, training, and coaching in line with department objectives.
